No really, do you? Ask yourself. Because if the answer is ‘yes’, you are not alone. It’s a well known fact that couples argue most (and incidentally divorce) over the subject of sex and of money. In both cases, think ‘lack’ thereof. It’s a horrible situation to be in.
With the current climate we’re all facing, many of us who were doing just fine previously (as in financially) are now really feeling the pinch. But the financial stress I’m talking about here is more to do with your own ‘personal’ attitude to money.
For example (and it doesn’t matter if you’re married or ‘living’ together or dating even); let’s say you’re a spendthrift in one area (ie you just ‘love’ buying shoes, makeup, bags or purses) and ‘he’ thinks you’re completely frivolous; or, it might be that ‘you’re’ the one who’s careful with money while he thinks nothing of slapping down a few hundred dollars on new gadgets every month.
Fact is, these differences can cause huge amounts of stress within a relationship, which would otherwise be pretty wonderful. If you are not yet married, now would be a good time (excellent in fact) to address this ‘issue’. It would place intolerable stress on a new marriage if you started out your new life as man and wife with this ticking time bomb hanging over you.
Of course if one or other of you has deep pockets (say from inheritance (how likely is that these days though! or has an incredibly well paying job and is generous to boot), then you might very well be okay. But, for most of us, this is ‘not’ going to be the norm. So if you find yourself fighting over money, you ‘must’ take steps to resolve this very important aspect of your relationship.
Your future and happiness (for both of you) and indeed your sanity depends upon it. If you’re unable to sit down like two adults and discuss it over coffee (or a bottle of wine even) calmly and amicably then you will need to get help from a third party. You can buy books on the subject or you could ‘consult’ with someone whom you both trust, whether that be someone close or a financial professional (do check out credentials carefully if you go down this route).
Just know that if you get this area of your relationship right, it will serve you incredibly well for the future. It will provide you with the security you need in later years and the foundation you need for the well being of your relationship as a strong and loving couple.
Ultimately it’s
irrelevant the ‘issue’ you may have in your relationship, be it money or trust or whatever.
Just know that in order for you to have a better relationship, you need to address any niggling problems or (something bigger) and get it out in the open and sorted. Then you will have the best opportunity of a long and happy relationship with your significant other.

oh god all your guys advice is great i wish could choose all u guys for best answer but i think i attempted to tell him straight out i like him id wind up barfing on him and everyone that knows him is a flabbermouth so inevtiably if i ask about him he will know and look at me like im weird which i absolutly am so i guess it doesnt make much of a difference true love here i come hope im not too much of a regular dumby like i usually am……..
Do your research! Find out all that you can about him. Develop the same interests as him. Find ways to share these same interests. Also (without being obvious) impress upon him that you are in demand with the opposite sex. Show no real interest in those demands but if he offers “interest” be the” carrot in front of the horse” just out of reach-yet obtainable. Once you know that you have him hooked reel him in…he’s yours.
